Think Precinct is so simple, all 9 steps of the plan fit on the first page of the 48-page book. The rest is worksheets, instructions, tips, sample fliers and inspirational quotes.

Imagine the power of the progressive grassroots if every precinct in the country used Think Precinct®. Then there would be a permanent nationwide grassroots infrastructure that's already in place every time there is an election. So, candidates can plug right into the precinct leadership instead of having to recruit volunteers to spread the word.
IT'S NOT JUST FOR PRECINCTS
Our 9-step plan is designed to work in any manageable geographic area where a motivated leader has volunteers who are energized to identify supporters and make sure they vote. It can be an apartment complex, a city block, a subdivision, a county road, a ward, a township - whatever works for you. It's just a matter of getting more people to vote for progressive candidates.
HOW THINK PRECINCT® GOT STARTED
Howard Dean's 2004 message to the grassroots, "You Have The Power," inspired the first Think Precinct guide. When some of us in Colorado took the Governor's message to heart and decided to organize our neighborhoods, we couldn't find comprehensive materials for progressive activists. So, we created Think Precinct.
NATIONAL REQUESTS FOR THINK PRECINCT®
After the surprising success for Democratic candidates in Colorado, progressive activists in other states asked us to create a guide that can be used in any state, any election, any year. Since then, hundreds of our guides have been purchased or downloaded from our website.
THINK PRECINCT® TRAINING DURING THE DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION
